with a $100 contribution.

The “Competitive Edge” is an exciting new college savings program for every first grader entering the Livonia Public Schools. The goal of the Livonia Public Schools Foundation is to provide a unique opportunity for LPS parents to begin planning for their children’s post-secondary education early on, and help set aside money for their future college costs.

• The LPS Foundation – The Competitive Edge College Savings Program
• The importance of planning and saving for college today, for their future tomorrow
• The benefits and tax advantages of using a Michigan Education Savings Program, the state’s
  official 529 college savings plan, to save for your child’s future college education
• How to receive a $100 contribution from the LPS Foundation

 How do I participate?

• Parents must come to one of the planning seminars (or the online webinar) and enroll in the program in order to participate and receive the contribution from the Foundation.
• If you are unable to attend a meeting scheduled in your area, please feel free to attend one of the
  other presentations listed below.
